Here in NW Florida it's slightly higher, like $2.40. So far a good deal since we are headed for Illinois in a week to finally see our house and take some junk up there. Supposed to be around $2.00 in Mississippi and Alabama.
We've dropped about 40 cents per gallon in the last couple of weeks. It had been around $2.65 for a while, but now it's down to the $2.25 to $2.35 range at most stations. We have a bit yet to go to get below $2.00.
I saw a 2.99 sign today with a 3.03 sign across the street. A couple miles away was 3.35 on a sign. The 3.35 was at a station across from a Sears store, I guess they think only crazy people shop at Sears anymore so the high price should suit them just fine!
WA average's come down about 20 cents in the last five days. The ARCO three blocks from me has the lowest price, $2.51. That's the lowest in three years.
