Does anyone know what the largest size tire is that will fit on a 67 Squire with 15" rims (drum brakes). I dont want any rubbing or other clearance problems. Thanks
I can't answer when it comes to your 67 but I have fat maged a 80 Colony Park, 84-5 Fox LTD, and a 8? Malibu. Mag offset regulates tire size and the hight of the wagon, not just empty but when the back is full as your ride hight will be lower. A good tire shop mite be your best bet, with the Colony they (tire shop) let me try a few sizes. I went to get tires with the back loaded so I would know rite now if I had clearance ishues. I had to roll the wheel wells on the Fox LTD. Some time this summer I and going to fat tire my Cutlass, I'm going to let the tire shop fit me, the back will be loaded also.
