Where can I find a parts book with ome part numbers? I am on a mission to find a rear window weather strip for an 84 caprice wagon.Everyone says they can't be had. knowledge is power. What you got guys?
Nice looking wagon Peter! Have you tried JCWhitney?http://www.jcwhitney.com/weatherstripping-and-seals/c102905j1s17.jcwx?r=hn I've not used them myself, but they may be worth trying.
I think the part number you seek is 20225797. Good luck with your search. I found one listed for about $70 a few weeks ago and didn't buy it. Should have pulled the trigger!
Um, ebay? Automotive literature vendors? The bigger question is, what exactly does the part number give you as far as creating a reproduction part?
There are people out that bought whole dealership parts over4 the years. The part number gets me closer to that find.thanks JMT445 I will give it a try.
If you simply type that part number into Google, you'll get several vendors who claim to have them. Others here have crapped on that because some of those vendors have incorrect application data on their websites. Personally, it's worth a call. That's how I got mine.
