Hi, I'm Rob from Indy. My buddies call me Chill. Glad I found this forum. Just recently purchased a 1989 Grand Marquis Colony Park LS. Door sticker says it was made in Canada, 12/08/88. If I'm reading the car fax correctly, the original dealer was in Oldsmar, FL. Looks like it was a Floridian it's whole life, till I brought here to Indy. I hope to use the resources here to take care of this baby and enjoy it for years to come.
Oh gawd yes. Welcome chill! Gonna need some more shots of that beauty! Hey mak, are you seeing this?! Glad to see another CP on here. Really, that thing looks immaculate. You’ll find all the resources you need here. For a guy named chill a wagon is the perfect ride. You nailed it
Welcome aboard Rob. That is a nice looking CP. I'm looking forward to hearing more about this car and your plans for it.
Chill welcome to the forum, when the kids were growing up I had a Navy blue 89 Colony Park was wonderful we used to plug a VCR into 1 of the lighters and a TV into the other, this was way before anyone had car entertainment systems. can you imagine cigarette lighters in the doors of cars today - always regretted trading the car in that's why 2 years ago I got myself an 85 silver Colony Park with porno red leather interior, hasn't turned 61,000 miles yet - great looking car from 10' there are a couple of us on here with late 80's panther platform wagons, hope you stick around you find the group, hum, I think the term would be lively?
Welcome to the forum, Chill! Hope I can be considered a friend..... That's a beautiful Colony Park, coming from someone who loves them. Back in 1989, I enjoyed an '84 for about 10 days, until something happened, but that's a story for another time. Marshall
