Hello all, my name is Jeff, and I have a '95 Century wagon w/3rd row seat. I need a vehicle capable of hauling 4 small kids around, and I like my wagon a whole lot more than a minivan. So far, I have put K&N air filter, front struts originally for a '95 u-body minivan, rear in-coil airbags, Accel spiral core spark plug wires, and 225/50-17s on dodge charger steel wheels. I have them on the back, and am sending the front wheels to Bolton's Classic Wheel in CA. to have the offset changed so they will tuck-in under the fenders. I plan on continuing the mods with front brakes/spindles/sway bar from a u-body, heavy-duty rear sway bar, rear discs, then stereo, tint & on to performance. My family had 2 60's Buick wagons with the vista windows when I was very young. I loved riding in my older brother's that was primer gray with chrome smoothies, budweiser curtains all the way around the back, and I believe a 455 under the hood with many performance modifications. I'm looking forward to being an active member in this community, Jeff http://s1068.photobucket.com/albums/u449/JS-B1/
from sunny Florida---when it ain't rainin!95fwd Sounds like you are well on your way with a nice family cruiser. Sure beats the cookie cutter mini vans and SUV thingies. Hope you add some photos and more information as you play around here.
Hi Jeff. I have '94 Century woodie with a 3rd row seat. Sounds like you're having a good time with your wagon. Welcome to the forum.
Let me know if you ever change the shocks/struts. I did a crazy amount of research before putting the van struts on the front of my car. I have 215/60-16s mounted on Enkei-made grand prix wheels that have a +52 offset! I couldn't get close to putting those on the front with stock struts. The handling is a different world than stock, and will only get better! Thank you all for the warm welcome.
Welcome! I'm originally from Tucson - great place! I have lots of family in town still and come back 3 or 4 times a year to visit. Good luck with the wagon!
