still need help finding rear window sweep on my 83' caprice

    I still havent found it...Ive called a dozen places but no luck..they have everything else. I cannot even find a junkyard that has one. If ANYone has a good one, ill pay top dollar for it..mine is cracked up.

    it's for my 83' caprice estate wagon.

    The only D.A. Question is the one you don't ask.:)

    The different companies try to 'brand' a lot of these glass seals to some mystical dictionary of their own.

    Usually the sweeps are the beltline strips that sit inside of the door sill, on either side of the glass. The outer one might have a squeegee rubber on the top surface and a dust 'sweeping' fuzzy below that. The inner one will be similar, but longer fuzzies to act as anti-rattle pads. On the back tailgate windows, they're just wider, and, if you're lucky, a bit thicker between door sill and glass, to help guide the larger glass up and down, especially on clam-shell doors (no upper glass frame guides).
