Spare Wheel Compartment on 1994 Capeice Wagon

    do you know if it is the same as a 77-90? I am parting out a 78 Catalina Safari & it has a solid spare tire compartment bottom.

    hey now I'm looking for the rear license plate bracket for 1993. Just got the car 69K on the clock one owner. Pics when I get it cleaned up some. oh ya it's a woody.

    Had a similar surprise rot out with the spare tire well on my 66 Malibu project. I had the inner fenders left over from some used quarter panels and found the shape was close enough to use to repair the bottom of the spare tire well. With a little fabrication I was able to weld one in place and was also able to save and re-install the original drain hole. Finished it off with a good coating inside and out of POR-15 which should help the repair last longer than the original design.
