i am a soon to be Jr VFF at my local VFD, Library Volunteer Fire Dept. http://www.libraryvfc.com/index.html im not too sure about the details yet myself, so i dont have much to tell yet, once i know, ill tell yall! but thats one reason i NEED me a car soon! so somebody go give me some input on that LTD II while your at it! http://www.stationwagonforums.com/forums/showthread.php?t=21861&page=7
OK - here's your chance. Drive your race car to every fire, and this time when the reporter shows up take a big swig of Mountain Dew and tell 'em how good the car was working and how proud you are of your crew! Start acting the part of a big time race car driver! And stay safe - thanks for volunteering.
hahahahah! not to sure the cops or other VFD members would be happy about that! but i got my light bar today! its gettin real! now i just need to bring that perty LTD home to put it on!
Good on ya for volunteering to be a fire fighter! As for that LTD, and by the way, that generation did without the "II" suffix, she looks sweet. Ford called them the LTD hoping to be able to discontinue the Crown Victoria. Didn't quite work out for them. LOL Keep in mind, that is a Mustang under the skin, so mechanical parts are readily available and so is the know-how to keep them working well.
Thank You and i knew at some point they dropped the "II" i just wasnt sure when. and from what i can see, shes rust free! interior looks pretty darn good too! with a nice wash, wax, and buff and some rims, she'll look good, especially with my light bar on top Force 4 LP Code 3 Double Light Beacon.
heres the same exact thing with a red lense in action. ill tell you what though, this thing is BRIGHT at night. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D9cmKX3OoT0
That's really cool. Congratulations for volunteering like that, do you think you'll make a career out of it...fire fighting not volunteering. Girls LOVE firemen. Good luck with the car and the shiney new light. Boys love lights...
