    Hi,
Been trying to figure out the letter/number combinations from my Service Parts Identification label. Nearly there but missing a few. Anybody knows and can help out these last bits?

    Thanks
    Anders

Couple guys here might have some info on this, but have you tried a Buick-specific forum?

Don't really know about any GOOD Buick forums. I prefer this forum as the car is a Wagon and you guys knows more about wagons than other Buick forums. Also a 1987 is to new to be of interest on a regular Buick forum.

But the codes are GM codes so it should work with any GM car. Most of the codes I found in my parts catalogue and online at a Chevrolet site.

I do not ask a question without first searching extensively for the answer. As you can see from my list I have found most answers indicating that I have done my job. Its the elusive codes that's been impossible to find through google or the library, yes I have good manuals, and that's why I ask. A generic answer like searching the web is not helping at all.

Going through the angelfire site I find that YT9 is marked as ???
31U is marked as "PRIMARY COLOR, EXTERIOR, ARCTIC WHITE PEARL (92)" which is incorrect for my car as my car is dark blue.
The rest of my blank codes are not even stated on angelfire.
    Same with second site.

According to the brochure, your car is Dark Blue.

GM divisions used the same codes in different eras, 31U in 87 is blue but I also found greens and white.

These 4 are your spring codes:
6PC and 7PC- component frt LH(and RH) Comptr Sel Susp

I found these codes in about 20 minutes online. I like your wagon and the rare wheels. Take care.
