I saw this on another forum and it worked. It is a way to pull up a page with all of the closeout parts for your vehicle: I can't take credit for it, but it's pretty damn awesome... I discovered a way to quickly find all closeout parts offered for a specific car without clicking every parts category. 1. On the home page, click on the big red start button to start the "Interactive" catalog. 2. Towards the bottom of the page, look for "Catalog display problem? Click Here for the traditional HTML version." This will take you to the older style catalog search. http://www.rockauto.com/catalog/catalog.php 3. Search through the catalog till you find your specific car model. 4. Your address bar should read something like http://www.rockauto.com/catalog/x,carcode,1333381 The numbers at the end is your car's code #. 5. Use this link, but replace the Xs after "carcode=" with your car's code. http://www.rockauto.com/RSS/vehiclefeeds.php?carcode=xxxxxxx&m=wc&l=en&html=true It takes longer to read this than to actually do it. Enjoy
They send me E-mails with the latest closeout parts for my wagon and the other cars I've bought parts for? Maybe it's because I've bought so many parts from them over the years that I've got enough of those car picture magnets that they give you with your order to cover every square foot of a battleship's hull.
I can't seem to work this. They sent me such an e-mail once which was great. Their closeout items are priced very aggressively. I've had more than a few problems with RA, they usually correct it to my satisfaction but not without a hassle . You get what you pay for, as they say.
