    Gentlemen

Does anyone have a link that they could provide me to help find the rear window rubber (the part on the outside that keeps the rain from going into the rear gate) for 1967 Mercury Colony Park. I assume it is the same as for a Ford Country Sedan/Squire.

I combed the threads here for anything, found nothing. I may be referring to it by the wrong name. If so, please educate me as to what the right name for this piece of rubber is. It goes where the arrow points on the attached picture. rear window pic.jpg

Any help appreciated, almost done with the car and this is a nagging loose end...

    G'day mate,

I searched long and hard for a Fairlane wagon part exactly the same, came up with nothing. In the end, I used some rubber extrusions and stuck it to the aluminium trim that runs along the outside edge.

Have a read about half way down this thread, there is a pic of what I did with mine and a link to show the type of rubber I used. It's not perfect, but there was no options, particularly where I live.I think it's called something like external tailgate window weatherstrip. I think.:):)
