Could you imagine seeing a rig like that today? There would be so many dimes dropped on that lady, and so many 800 numbers, and agencies at her door she’d think she was the child protective services welcome wagon. Wouldn’t doubt if that black Bel Air behind her wasn’t some gobment man spying on her.

Well, obviously is the Beaumont not airtight like a Beetle would be. That's the reason why a box of straws wasn't needed for survival under snow. Besides, she doesen't own a Mercedes yet

 

With this being the photo she is referring to PI. Obviously why get a step stool when you can jump up on the car. Also to you point. If this were a beetle, she may have slid down the hood, and she may have died. So just cause a Beetle is airtight doesn’t mean you can’t get injured or die. A straw would not have helped in this case. Lack of air is not her issue here. Lack of brains is totally her problem. Is a skier with a cold, burried under an avalanche also know to be under the weather?
