I never had a pedal car. I only had one of those weird ones with the two large wheels on the side that had handles, and a caster fire and aft. I'll see if I can find a pic to post up.

That is weird, I never seen that before! Here's your chance to own it again.

It's better than the one I had...no peddle cars for girls.

What, did you expect a pink-painted Mustang? All the girls I saw 'driving' pedal cars, they just were modelled after regular cars. No cop, fire or military vehicles, just cars.

In our house, my brother was permitted to have a pedal car but the girls were not. :(

And you never drove his? Or did your parents think that was a sign of you thumbing your nose at them?

We had three pedal cars when I was gowning up. All were plastic. One was a cherry 7-up 57 Thunderbird that my Grandpa found at Saint Vincent DePaul's. Another was a black bandit Trans Am, which I can't recall where that came from. And then lastly there was "the Kitt Car". It was K.I.T.T. from my favorite TV show Knight Rider. It had a working red light in the nose and would play pre-recorded messages with the push of a button. I loved that thing. I still had it into adulthood, something I intended to somehow restore eventually. But unfortunately somewhere along the way I lost track of it. I don't know what ultimately happened to it.

    Here's what it looked like:
