It never seems to matter the topic I always enjoy listening to his stories. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Paul_Harvey
I was a huge fan of his "The Rest of the Story" radio shows. My dad put me on to him. It wasn't until after Paul passed away that I came across "The Farmer" and it left me speechless.
Always loved listening to his broadcasts while I did my work throughout the day. I never really got a handle on which stations he was on at what time, and since I was covering most of Southern California, I kinda picked the broadcasts hit-and-miss.
That might have to do with the fact that Mr. Harvey passed away in February of 2009 I grew up hearing him on the radio, so it is always neat to hear his voice.
When I say I hadn't heard him in a long time, I meant it's been at least a couple decades. I used to listen to him when I commuted for work back in the early '90s.
One time when I was working at the cottage I had the radio on the local station. They have interesting programs throughout the day. At one point an old radio play came on, "Only the Shadow Knows". It was really cool listening to it while I was painting.
