   I just bought an old Subaru GL Wagon, VIN show manufactured 11/1985, though it is registered as 1986 creme color. No paint code visible, and even had a collision shop look. Anyone know the paint codes for that year.??

   Try this website, it lists 1986 factory colors. Bear in mind, production years usually begin in August or September of the previous year.
