Does anyone live near Seattle? I can't believe these P1800 ES wagons are that cheap in the US, if it is in good condition. http://seattle.craigslist.org/see/cto/4824161995.html
I'm very surprised it's that low in price. Two-three years ago you could find some in this price range, but now I've been seeing most of them (in decent 'driver' condition) for the low teens........ I would say that's a good enough price to buy it sight unseen.
I am interested and asked the seller some questions. I live in Europe so I cannot go and see the car and the seller wants cash. Maybe asking a car broker is an option ifthe seller really wants cash. Let's wait and see...
You should be able to wire the money to the seller......... I would get some pics of the rust-vulnerable areas, in any case.
I asked, so I am sitting and waiting I had a P1800S in the past and regret selling it. I do have a Volvo Amazon now, but it needs a full restoration. So it is either restoring the Amazon or buying another Volvo.
