Hi, I am new to the SW forum. I am an amateur car collector and presently have in my collection a 1984 Mercury Colony Park S.W which I bought out of an estate. The car had been sitting about 2 years so with a little mechanical work and a lot of detailing the car has been prepared for the road again. I have taken it to shows & events within the state and have enjoyed the looks and comments from the people looking at her.
Welcome to the forum. Yours? http://columbus.craigslist.org/cto/4497700857.html We put up a link in our 'Craig's List, Auctions, etc.' section... http://www.stationwagonforums.com/forums/showthread.php?t=31475 I used to own a '84 Colony Park - for about 10 days back in 1989. Drove it to Vegas one weekend where it had the nerve to burn up on me....... Marshall
Are you a retired police office or are you still servicing your community? Either way thankyou for choosing to service and protect. to SWF.
Ahhhh! Love the pic of your '72 Vista Cruiser, OldsWagonmaster. After having three kids, that particular Vista Cruiser has become one of my dream cars (I admit, there are many). Sorry to hijack the thread :-/ My ADD meds haven't kicked in yet. Welcome, Old Cop... Post away! We all LOVE looking at pics of everyone's rides. As an aside (and I know I'm preaching to the choir, here), it's too bad that this type of transport is extinct now... In my opinion, if you have a family, wagon is the best vehicle type on the planet - I have an '06 minivan that we tolerate, but we all love the backwards seat nine passenger Satellite. When it's done (probably another year or so), the Sat will be our regular hauler. Kristi
Welcome to the Nuthouse we call home! Great choice of wagon you have. Love these big old Mercury cars. Nothing like them. Ask me. I know. I'm on number 5! I only wish one were a wagon, but that's life, I suppose. Please, let's see what she looks like. Be sure to check in regularly, too. This really is a family around here, and we hate to see so many who say hi, and then disappear on us.
