My 60 Parkwood is in the body shop getting ready for paint. My question involves the side molding. The Parkwood should have a single stainless molding on either side from the back door to the back of the wagon. I do not have that molding. I do have the Nomad molding. I have welded the original molding holes closed and plan to drill new holes for the Nomad stainless. I am wondering whether the holes should be oval or round and which molding clips attach the stainless to the wagon. (the nomad stainless is a lot narrower than the Parkwood stainless) Any guidance on this would be appreciated. Thanks - Clay
Maybe one of the Late Great Chevy Clubs, looks like there a few in Texas, may have an answer for you.
Funny, as I have some of the Parkwood Moldings available. Let me know if you still need to know about the Molding Holes. I can check some of my cars. I am parting out 4 '60's.
You may have a few pieces I could use. The hood molding I have is in pretty bad shape same with the headlight eyebrows. I have seen new ones for too much money. What do your pieces look like? What's your price?
