Windows down, Van Morrison in the CD player, beautiful morning run up Phantom Warriors Highway to Killeen Cars and Coffee in my favorite Land Yauct. Then after the show turned left instead of right, and spent a few hours just following my hood ornament wherever it led me back from Killeen back to Austin via Texas Hill Country back-roads.

Couple more from taking the long way home from Killeen Cars and Coffee. Any horror movie fans know where I was here?

    Hint down at the bottom!

Over hill, over dale, we have hit the Texas trail, and our wagons go rolling along!
In and out, the kids shout, pass on the left and fast about, and our wagons go rolling along!
Singin' "Hi! Hi! Hee!" in the scrubby backcountry! Shout out your Twenty loud and strong!
For wherever you go, you always will know, that our wagons go rolling along!

Yep that was a fun day! I'd planned to come right home after the meet, but had a few hours so on a whim just took off on a country road to see where it led me. I love doing that, and don't get to enough!

    Take Care!
