Hi everyone. New to the forums, from Philadelphia. Just picked up a '72 lemans wagon. Hoping to get some questions answered sometime this week. I'll post some pictures later too.
Hello and welcome from one newbie to another, congrats on your purchase, I hope to announce my own someday.
Thanks for the welcome Guys! Here are a couple pictures of my knew toy.. Its a stock 400 with M20 muncie 4 speed. Can anyone tell me if the door panels from a 4door lemans are the same as the wagon door panels? Will they fit? Thanks for any help..
My 88 caprice came with a late 70s 400/6.6l too. Albeit transplanted from the stock 307. My 400 would be a Olds engine. Yours is most likely a Pontiac thanks to the 4 speed. I'm doing a 4 speed swap on that wagon with a 350 chevy and a A833 manual 4 speed O/D unit.
welcome to the forum, hope you stay with us, half of my family is in Philly. Delco girls are always Delco girls no matter where they live.
Are we trying to wake up a eight year old thread? Helloooooo..... Four Speed Wagon!? Are you there?.....Longroofs Rule!
Howdy all. Here it is in all it's faux wood grain glory. You can see the fender call out, some one had swapped the 307 for a 403. Cleaver when you think about it as they are the exact same engine externally so it is just a swap that requires a hand full of wenches. 94 more cubes without reinventing the wheels. STILL the 403 was an emissions controlled clogged out leaker that had to go. The orange SBC is the new transplant. GM New Process A833 is going behind it. engine/trans both came out of a 82 C10. Wagon is in excellent shape especially for the middle of Canada.
Apparently so. Cutlass Mike, that's a nice looking project you have there. Why don't you start a separate thread introducing yourself and sharing the process with us. You can start a build thread here: http://www.stationwagonforums.com/forums/forums/station-wagon-projects.32/
