I purchased my 1964 Bel Air wagon in the early 90's. It was purchased by a funeral home in rural Nebraska to be used as the area ambulance and to keep the mileage down on the Cad Hearse. It is a special order Bel Air with PS, PB, Tilt., Air, Posi, 327, auto. Desert Beige ext. and Fawn interior. The special order part is the 60/40 split bench seat. When I bough the car it still had the stretcher guides and tailgate cover. Red "bubble" was in the trunk. After it was totaled by a DWI, I decided to go the custom route.
Welcome from Florida Hope you enjoy the forum. Seems like a good way to get a low mileage wagon is buy a funeral vehicle.
Thanks for the welcomes. With 3 kids in all kinds of sports, all of my extra time and money goes to their functions. Progress is slow but I do get to work on her every now and then. I figure my real SS car is still in progress after 20 years, so this one will too.
