Hi folks, I found this forum today and decided to join up. I'm also a member of GM Longroofs and ClassicOldsmobile.com. I've had this thing for station wagons since at least age five, our family never owned one though! Daddy went for the least expensive vehicles, even a cheap wagon was not in the budget. A neighbor in Fort Knox, Kentucky had a top of the line '59 Chevrolet wagon in their copper color, and a couple of years later, our Uncle Norman had the identical vehicle. That pretty much started the interest. I owned a 1968 Plymouth Fury Suburban for a while, and in January of this year, I found what I considered way too good to pass up. My Custom Cruiser was well maintained, not perfect, but they kept pretty good watch on it through the years. It was purchased from Columbia Olds in Montgomery Ohio, originally. The woman sold it to her husband (don't know the particulars though) the man gave it to their son, who sold it to me after he had it for several months. I look forward to meeting other Custom Cruiser owners, and any other great classic wagon owners. I have a thing for Colony Parks, Estate Wagons, Safaris, and anything from the common to the seldom seen. Anything goes!
Welcome to the SWF. The more box wagons, the better. (You'll see me over at that other place as well on occasion....) Marshall
