We have had a wagon in the family since late 66 until I retired my black 92 RMW in 00. They were all work cars but actually got more use after work than the primary cars. I even took my 1st drivers test in 67 (a black 67 Ford with a 390 4v) with the wagon. Since I retired my wagon I have had many times that I had missed having it that I finally started looking for one for that last couple years. My brother finally found one last Nov and we went and took a look at it and other than a bad rust spot on the ps d pillar it was in pretty good shape. I ended up buying it right then. So far all I have done to it is new tires, wheels, Bilstiens all around, cargo coils in the back, exhaust (developed a leak the 1st trip I made after the purchase) and headlights (a work in progress). This winter I plan on replacing all the potential problem areas of the lt1's like a new opti, plugs and wires, water pump. Here are a few pics.
Anicent 1. Although there seems to be a few other anicent ones on here so you'll be in good company. Glad to hear your back in the saddle again. The others will be along soon. Hope you enjoy the forum it's an interesting place.
, nice looking wagon. Ummmm.... I only clicked on 2 pics though.....pop up ads follow your pics and some how get past our PC supposed to block these. I'd really like to see more but ...those darn pop up ads Could you post them derect to the site?
I have never gotten a popup when I clicked them before. Sorry about that I just didn't know. I attached them to the sight and the other from my web space. As far as my screen name it isn't that I am that old it is just one I have used since around 96 when I was playing 1st person shooters online and was the oldest of our group by over a decade. On every forum I sign up to I use it just in case I run into an old friend.
No problem....I'm not 'putor swab hey What the...??" Just found it kinda strange, the pop ups that is. Enjoy the site, and again.
to the wagon train, ancient, from a fellow Wisconsinite. I spent a LOT of time in Jefferson when I was in the used car business. I liked the Jefferson wholesale auction better than some others and went there every week. I have a 96 Cappy and can tell you that you will enjoy driving that Roadie!
