I'm looking for some information. I have a 1979 Ford LTD station wagon to sell. It has a rebuilt 351 Windsor and a rebuilt tranny. I would like some idea of what this car should be listed at.
It has been in storage and smells very musty. The body is really good due to the fact its has been oil undercoated tonnes. Not winter driven.
This was "the family car" and I grew up riding in this thing. It was used to take pets kids and plants up to the cottage. I have spent most of my life in the back seat. The dash is split from the sun and the front seat is just starting to rip also from sun.
Starts and runs beautifully. Brakes Tires exhaust good. Windows are electric and don't work plastic guides are broken.
Paint isn't showroom quality at all.
I have heard from a friend that the rebuilt Windsor and rebuilt tranny are worth a bit to racers... any advice would be wonderful.
