Hi all, I'm a new member from Michigan with a 1967 Mercury Comet Voyager. This car is my daily driver and is about to recieve a total mechanical overhaul. It will have a new Coyote 5.0 and six speed as well as new front suspension in the coming months. I also have a Factory Five Type 65 Coupe underway (Shelby Daytona replica) and a '65 Mustang Coupe.
Cool collection of rides. I can't say I recall ever seeing a Comet wagon before. Is it a Canadian built car? Thanks for sharing the pics. Welcome to the site.
Welcome! I love 66-67 Comet (and Fairlane) wagons. Yours looks great. I'm digging the Cyclone hood. A couple of years ago, I saw a 66 or 67 Comet Villager wagon in a Pull a Part in Louisville. Looked like a restorable car before it ended up there. Was a shame. I ended up getting the fiberglass "woodgrain" trim off of it.
Welcome aboard CometVoyager. Looks like you have a number of cool projects. You might want to start a build thread in the projects section on the cosmetic-restoration forum here: http://www.stationwagonforums.com/forums/forums/cosmetic-restoration.9/ Good luck and thanks for sharing.
I guess that explains why I haven't ever seen one. That is one cool wagon. I also like the Cyclone hood on it.
