Hey all, new guy from Ontario Canada. While I don't have a station wagon yet the search continues for the right one.

I'm not new to large cars as this is my current ride during the summer months, please excuse the non wagon photo!

Sauceman, welcome aboard. That is a beautiful Lincoln you have there! Is that a Continental with the Town Car package?

    Thansk!

It's a 1977 Continental Town Car with custom rear suicide door hinges.

My pleasure. I thought it was a Continental/Town Car, but I wasn't positive. I've been learning more about the 70's Lincolns recently, but I'm by no means an expert. I was also intrigued by the suicide doors. Was that a factory option? Or was that an aftermarket upgrade?

Lincoln stopped the rear suicide doors in 1969, in 1970 they went to conventional opening rear doors. I did the custom modifications myself on this car.

OK, I figured it had to be something like that. We have a 73 Continental and it has the conventional, front hinged rear doors.
So what type of wagon are you on the lookout for?

I like a clamshell or a early 70's LTD. Definitely something full size with a frame not unit-body.

Nice! The Clamshells are getting harder and harder to find. Seems like the LTDs are more plentiful.

Most of us seem to enjoy all cars/trucks...anything with wheels really. No worries, you are more than welcome without a wagon. Your wagon will find you, just keep looking.

    :Welcome:
