image.jpeg Hello wagon gang, John here in Seattle. Just bought my new daily driver down in Los Angeles and drove it back to Seattle last weekend- a true SoCal born 1972 Chevrolet Concours wagon still wearing its original blue and gold CA plates and dealer frame. Stock 350 4bbl, auto, power disc brakes, PS, factory A/C car with 115k miles on it. Someone added a 12 bolt rear, SS hood and badges, and rally wheels. Looks decent from 20 feet, and got 15.5 mpg between LA and Seattle, not too shabby. Hoping to find some parts, share stories, and enjoy this forum as much as the car.

That must have been quite the adventure driving home, especially this time of year.

Welcome John, from another western Washingtonian. I'm down in Buckley.

I just made that trip a year ago in a classic Mustang. Hopefully all went well. Beautiful car, and glad to hear it's gonna get driven.

Welcome John. GM made some good looking cars in the early 70's and you have one of the better ones.

Awesome wagon, I'm partial to Chevelle/Concours and our Canadian cousin Beaumont. Great find, congratulations.

    Welcome aboard.

    Welcome aboard, John.
Very cool wagon for sure. I like the added SS treatment, cowl hood, stripes, rallyes, etc.
