Need transmission info help

    this is the engine and trans in my 59 wagon??
    Can anyone assist on the number on my three on the tree transmission believe they are:

    A3-7222-? ? 16 can not make out two numbers where ? Are.

    30 AF-7006-D

    Engine is a C2AE 292 year 62 car or 62-64 truck

    Can’t work out trans for new clutch.

    It doesn't really make any difference. The clutches are pretty universal for that year. If you have a synchronized first gear, you will need a fine splined plate, if non-sychro it will be coarser. Also, depending on whether it is a standard or heavy duty clutch, it will be either 10 or 11 inches. Pull the clutch and measure and count, then go from there.

    I think it’s been a bitsa creation but it is a 23 tooth 1”spline, 10” clutch plate if that helps?

    You didn't answer my question about having a syncho first gear. That transmission first came out in 1963, and I believe it had fine splines. Previous transmissions did not have the first gear synchro and I believe they only had 9 splines. The clutch covers are all the same, only the clutch plate is different. A phone call to your supplier telling them you need a 23 spline plate should get you working.
