There was a quiet moment in my street so I could take a picture with both my cars on it. To me it's quite humorous, my little '86 Peugeot 205 XR vs. my '76 Buick Estate Wagon landship. Note: the parking spaces are of equal size, the one the Buick sits on is perhaps slightly bigger even. I guess it's a good illustration of the ah... difficulties one encounters over here when you have a full-size american vehicle. Worth it though!
Great Pic! That's funny! Thought you might get a giggle out of these. Some contrasts of my toys here:
Hah! Those are great pics indeed What on earth is the enormous Smart collection for in your last picture? Those are some very, very nice cars you have. What year is that Chevy? Love your Roadmaster too, I still want one of those wagons, they're the last of the GMohicans! So it'll have to be a '96, which is the last year and also fits perfectly in my collection ('76, '86 and then '96, and hopefully someday adding to that my dream car, a '66 Pontiac GTO)!
We have a rent-by-the-mile program in Downtown Austin called Car-To-Go. You pay with a credit card. The local Smart dealer got a giant order in and stored them near my house. Could not resist getting that pic. Sadly I no longer have the Caprice. I sold it to a buddy of mine. It was a nice clean car and I miss having it. I got an '88 Olds Cutlass T-top to replace it. The Roady wagon is my daily driver. It's a '96 model. I LOVE that car. And I can't quite do the 66 GTO for you, but I have a 67 GTO in my garage right now. It's ROUGH, but will be a beauty again one day. Take care! -Mike
Mike....I'm sure you heard this all through your childhood......you have to start hanging around a better bunch of friends!
