My dad has had me looking for a couple of months for a clean used car for my mom. I have tried finding him one at work but they blow me off when I ask about cars or give me a outragous price. I told them it was for my mom and dad and it was always said that our family would be able to buy at $400 above cost, well what they are telling me they pay for these cars are retail which means I would have them paying over retail so after asking about 10 diffrent cars I thought they would be interested in and having the same result, I went to the old trusty craigslist and found a 2006 Charger R/T. Clean car fax, lady owned, maint. records etc. Told my dad about it and after our Mother's day BBQ when everybody left he wanted me to take him to look at it 60 miles away. After looking at it he decided to leave a deposit figuring he couldn't get the paper work done tonight even though I told him they might know a notary bring all the money he refused. The lady had a notary on stand by and I had to drive back 60 miles get the money and go back again :banghead3: but he ended up with the car for my mom tonight and tomorrow is thier 46 wedding anniversary so she is happy and I feel like I drove cross the country tonight but to see him smiling handing her the keys made it all worth it...oh yeah we know for sure it will do 115mph:D

I told my dad my favorite thing in the world was helping someone else spend thier money on a car I can borrow :biglaugh:and he said :naughty: unless you wash it, wax it and change all the fluids. So guess what I am taking to work tomorrow?

Before he bought it I offered, for a small fee of course, partial ownership in a '83 Caprice station wagon project :rofl2: He just looked at me like I was crazy.

Well my computer crashed about a month ago and since I know even less about computers than I do about life according to my 14 year old :rofl2:I had to have a friend of mine get it going for me and haven't been able to load pics anymore. Going to get him to show me, before it would pop right up import to windows nnow it does nothing when I put my card in but hopefully I can figure it out soon.

1tireman, life and computers are both alike. Just when we get with the program----someone changes the program. If it weren't for our 22 year old I'd still be trying to figure out what a mouse is!:D
Computers are even sexy like real life. Sometimes I can't tell my HARD drive from my FLOPPY disk!:rofl2:

Buit you do know that Charger ain't real with out the pictures!
