It would be nice to talk with some other people with like wagons..Colony Park-Commuter. parts and info, stuff like that.
Hey. I enjoy ‘65-68 Colony Parks, but I have a ‘60, 77 and ‘83. But really love the ‘65-‘66 styling. What type of parts are you looking for? Thanks. 60Mercman
I have been on the hunt for a couple of things. A dome light bezel. I just found one okay shape but I'd really like to eventually find a nicer example. I also really need an antenne. All the ones I see online are the wrong configuration. I don't know if the wagon is different from the car. The cable comes out the side and all the ones I've seen come out the bottom.Thanks. Dan
Is the dome light in the wagon the same in the sedan? I think for some reason it is. What year in particular are you looking for? I know a lot of the 65-‘66 Mercury sedans had the antenna on the rear fender. That could be part of the issue. The rear mounted antenna certainly would have dropped through he bottom. In New Mexico here. Chrome really stays nice. I’ll keep my eye out. Thx
Yes, the dome light is the same. I have the '65 wagon. I hadn't thought about rear mount but looking at pictures I see that now. Love NM! Been there a few times.
Moved here from Chicago. Love the junkyards here, and the fact I can pretty much drive an old car year round. Just bought a really nice ‘77 LTD Landau, from the daughter of the original owner... 49,000 mile beauty. Those are so long gone in Chicago.
Not mine, but here's a 65 in Maryland for sale. Only one picture though and that sometimes seems to indicate a scam. If its real, the price sounds fair. https://baltimore.craigslist.org/cto/d/1965-mercury-colony-park/6725486558.html 1965 Mercury Colony Park Station Wagon 390 motor auto Loaded California Car. $8000.00 Call for Info 410-491-5348
Hey Owen. Welcome. What size engine? Looking for a 390 air cleaner cover. Also need a drivers side arm rest. I have a ‘68 Country Squire. Think both parts interchange.
