I hit the ignore button on a few of the Ki family. What does that do? Also, what’s the point of doing this? From the “hackers” stand point?

I hit my mental ignore button against this KIA brand, as soon as they arrived here

Thanks for reporting; I cleaned up the mess. Interesting thing is that they registered last year and only started spamming recently.

You should probably go to a pre-approvial method of allowing new members. We've had to do this on a couple of boards I'm admin/super mod on. If you see a "method of their madness" (ie:, ending in "ki") you start deleting all of those with handles ending in "ki". They will go 6 months (or more) between attacks, pumping more and more members in each day, often hiding their IP at the same time. Just a few of my observations from years of doing this...

Not that I wanted too but I can't post in some topics anymore. I can reply but not create a post. Now I know why. And its fine by me if it keeps the spammers away.

Not sure why this would happen. Can you please post an example of where this has occurred? Thanks.

Weird, trying to reproduce the "defect" but today I can create a thread anywhere I like.
