Looks like American Excellence now has the BoS (Best of Show) 1985 Custom Cruiser in stock in 1/18 scale. BoS is the same company that recently released 1/18 scale 71 Vista Cruiser and 62 Chrysler Town and Country wagons. https://www.american-excellence.com/?p=details&i=216273 OLDSMOBILE Custom Cruiser, metallic light blue / wood optics, Limited Edition 504 pieces, 1985 $129.95
Pretty accurate model rendering, from what I can see - just sorta wished they had used a Pontiac...... Pontiac had the lowest production by far though, so it's understandable.
I have one and really like having it in my collection. I would love to see the Buick version from the same period with the aluminum rims. I had a fully loaded 1990 Estate in white and would love to have a model of it! Also I hope they get around to doing either the Country Squire or Colony Park from 1975-1978, even one from the 80's would be just fine. That would make me VERY happy! I'd like to see more of the clamshells to join the '74 Buick too. I really like the models BOS puts out, I just wish they would improve their quality control about 1000%
Sorry, I don't know how to upload pictures onto this site. If you check eBay and go to the advanced search, and look for 1:18 BOS 1985 Custom Cruiser the last auction that sold on July 5 is my car. The other pictures posted above are a lot better than mine. I don't have any photos of the bottom, there really isn't much to see but a flat black bottom with the muffler and some exhaust piping and the serial number out of 1,000. BTW I like your Country Squire. I would love it if BOS would bring out a loaded example from 1975-1978 in a nice metallic brown shade with your wheel covers!
Here you go: I suggest creating an account on either Flickr or Imgur to host images. Then all you have to go is select 'Copy Image' and then, paste to here! Photobucket is now restrictive on the embedding of their images elsewhere.
Those pics look like you could just walk up and hop right in, go for a long drive...anywhere on the table, of course.
