    Hi There

I have a question: I go in the september to California for a roadtrip vacation for 3weeks.
Somebody knows a good junkyard with a lot of Cars? I search parts for my 87 Caprice Station. Speacially i search for trims and interior parts.

    look like this:

Its possible to find a junkyard with Caprices?

    thx a lot!

This is not a big help, but might give you some hope for your California trip. Yards like Pick-N-Pull, Wrench-A-Part and such normally have a lot of B-bodies in salt-free states.

I love the San Antonio Texas Pick-N-Pull, about an hour from me. It's B-body heaven. They have a FULL BIIGGG section of just full-size RWD Chevy and GM, and you can also find Roadies and such spread in with the FWD GM cars.

In other words, there is always a ton of good parts here. They also have a full section of RWD Fords made up of military and police cars mostly. Ha!

Found not one but TWO Custom Cruisers. Once had been hit HARD in the rear, but amzingly the side glass didn't break. Scored some rear grab handle light lenses and one good tail gate handle:

Rust-free Boat tail! Someone already snagged the rear window. TONS of good parts left.

As for California, one of my car-nut buddies travels a lot with business, and tries to hit yards between meetings. Here's you some leads!

Pics from the South Bay Pick-N-Pull in San Jose California. Enjoy!
    Is it Fiesta time? NO!

The only one I know of that specializes in parts for really 'older' vehicles is Memory Lane:

    Memory Lane Collector Car Dismantler
    1320 East Lomita Boulevard
    Wilmington, California 90744
    Phone: (310)513-7036
    Toll Free: 800-281-9273
    Fax: 310-513-7043

Wilmington is in the Los Angeles harbor area.
I've never been to the yard myself. I do not know if it is a yard that you can walk around, or if you have to stand at a counter and ask about parts you are looking for.

There is also a group of auto dismantlers called 'Pick-A-Part'.
This is a yard where you can pay $2.00 and roam around. Parts prices are very reasonable, but you have to pull them yourself. Most of their stock is on cars 5-20 years old. There's quite a few of them, all over southern California.
