Just joined. From Seattle. Currently use an '83 Malibu Wagon as a boat tow rig. Always have been a Wagon freak, so I get calls on them from time to time. I got wind of a '65 Buick Sport Wagon the other day, that was headed for the crusher. I saved it from that, but don't really need another wagon. It's a runner/driver, rough but complete. The body is straight arrow, one small rust hole on right rear door. Has a 355, two speed, manual windows, no tilt. Anyhow, I'll get it on the for sale area, if any of you may be interested.
    Thank You
    Matt Ringer

    Oh ya

Thank you, time is such a valuable commodity..jeez, like most of you, I have barely the time to post on sites. The Wagon thing tho, is impossible to deny. My wife can't stand the Malibu, but likes the Sport Wagon. Same thing with my '96 Impala SS. Hated it, so I traded it for a Jaguar Vanden Plas XJ6, with no miles on it. I mean, yeah, the Jag is a super luxurious ride, lots of torque, will cruise at a hundred for ....ever, but the LT-1 that was in the Impala? C'mon honey..seriously? So, it's a Jag in the garage, and so far, the Malibu, but I may have to do some horse tradin for an Olds Vista, cuz.. for some reason, I do dig those. Anyhow, I'll post some pics later today, I gotta go run a 632 on the dyno real quick and see if it lives. Blown, intercooled, Callies crank, Oliver rods, snow cool and NOS. Should be 1300 ish motor only. Not my motor but a good pal's. I'll cross my fingers....
    Matt

    Ok, off the dyno.

This was a Blown, intercooled, carb'd 632. On pump gas, with NOS and 116 octane adder, 26 degrees timing, pulled 1523hp at 6400 RPM. There is more in it, but the intercoler was somewhat restrictive. Even at 42 percent overdrive, it was having a hard time making boost. I'm done for the night, will add pictures tomorrow, to keep the disease alive....

Though it's not in a wagon, this is the 588 that resides downstairs, in the 21' Daytona Eliminator. Blown, injected, coil pack, intercooled, dry sump.

Thank You for the welcome! We did a '69 Caprice wagon a few years ago, found a good donor car with the hidden headlights, pwr windows and cruise . Car went Rootbeer Brown, metallic with Corvette Rally's! Looked Awesome!!

This is my first Wagon and that is why I got it because it was fixin' to be loaded up to go to crusher. My other projects have all been '50's and '60's cars and trucks so this is the newest old car I have ever had.I guess it is just hard to realize it is 28 years old and considered antique in my state because I remember them so well and I AM NOT OLD YET :taz:

The '65 Sport Wagon sold today locally. I have the '83 that I recently aquired. I robbed an '86 MonteCarlo SS of it's wiper delay motor, steering column (Tilt) multi function switch, The wiring is a little different, not tough to figure out tho, grabbed the Front and Rear sway bars, as they were MUCH larger than the ONE I had existing, Stole the Clutch Fan, as someone or another put on a Flex fan(Gag) Threw in a Detriot Locker and a set of Welds. I submitted some pics but am waiting on moderators to swallow!! LOL, anyhow thats the long and short,as of today!
