Attention All Wagon Lovers (and classic car guys/gals in general). Come join us for the Grand Indiana Auto Tour this coming August in Terre Haute, Indiana. I'm the president of the GIAT, a chapter of the Veteran Motor Car Club of America, and invite everyone to join us down the road for three days of touring. More info can be had at our official web site:

    www.grandindianaautotour.com

where you can read about past tours, find details on hotels, tour applications, etc. Had my '69 Vista Cruiser on the tour a few years ago, but lately we've had a nice mid '50's Chevy wagon representing the crowd, so bring your ride and join us.

We have an opening banquet Wed. night, then Thursday through Saturday we visit various sites around the area while returning to the hotel each night. Thursday we go to Saint Mary-of-the-Woods, the Turner Museum, and the Fire & Police Museum. Friday we see the Hippodrome, Clabber Girl Museum, & Clay City Pottery. Saturday it's the Don Smith Museum and then closing lunch at Merom Bluff Park. Lots of fun. If you want a low-impact 1st look, come to the hotel each night and check out the cars & visit. Just ask one of the participants where I am and I'd love to make your acquaintance.
