http://www.luxury4play.com/automoti...ics-insane-garage-picture-thread-50-pics.html I saw this on another forum and thought some of you might enjoy the photos. I was wondering, where are the tools, but then I remembered that these guys don't work on their own vehicles.
Its staggering how much $$ these guys have to "play" with. I like the little ramp that keeps the Ferrari from accidentally rolling out the window and off the cliff. Does it really need to be parked in the living room?
Very few tools in sight, but did you notice the cabinetry hidden in the decor in some of those garages? Probably LOTS of tools and such there!
And the floor that looks like the perfect ice/skating rink. There is anonther garage lower down that has the "welfare" floor look....I guess you have your $1 Kazilllion floor compared to a shody $ 9 million floor . I have a couple of these:floor_jack:
The garages are amazing but what about the Killer Whale in the back yard of this one?! http://www.luxury4play.com/606912-post261.html
Would be nice to have something like that, but its not a garage unless it has tools and extra parts along the floor and on the work bench. If it is not a work facility, it is a car port and nothing more, no matter how much money and "bling" they invest. If you cannot/will not work on your own cars, what is the fun of having one? It would feel like a rental/lease to me. Guy at a car show- "Whats that '69 Z28 got under the hood?" Owner- "Hold on, let me dial up my Mechanic on my Blackberry with an earbud and ask him"
I hear ya. While probably the most modest of the lot, this one is by far my favorite and is certainly a functional work space.
I have often thought of building a garage to work on wagons and live in it too. Section it off. I think it would be cool. I could sure section off any of these garages and live in them and still work on my cars. I'm single, retired and don't need no stinkin' big house no more!
