Intro for Ridgerimrock

Good day all,
Just joined the group. I’m a recent owner of a 1965 Mercury Comet 404 wagon. It’s a project, but the body is in great condition. Stats below. Looking to do a restomod with a 351W and 5-speed.I tried to upload a photo, but the "browse" button is broken.

Power steering
Remote driver mirror
Reverse lights
Vintage air diverter wing

Those Comets are nice wagons, we had a member "blacksnake" on here that did a 404 wagon and posted on a resto thread.

to the party Ridgerimrock. If you've got clean iron you're better then half way done with the re-do. I always liked those early Comets with fins, 'course I'm ah fin guy anyway. Jer

 

Bigbarnycars, ya I like fins too. Always liked the '63 Fairlane wagons.

 

MotoMike, that looks like a nice '64 Comet. I like the Falcon photos as well.
