We keep having problems with Roadrunner and want to switch to somebody else. Thinking about Clear. Wondering if anyone has anything good/bad to say about Clear?
This is probably of no use to you, but I just switched from Bellsouth (AT&T) DSL to Bright House (Time Warner Cable) Roadrunner and saved some money and gained some speed. Your results may vary, depending on your location and the deals being offered.
My part of town was "upgraded" back in the summer. So for about 30 days we had almost no internet. After about 3 service calls by young guys, with no real results until I threatened to switch internet & cable to another company. So finally they sent out a more experienced guy. This tech admitted the upgrade was causing problems, but helped me sort it out. So now I only lose internet about 2-4 hours each day instead of 23 hours. And as the "upgrades" are made through different parts of town, friends with roadrunner tell me they are experiencing the same problems.
