Darn I'm getting old partner. I've seen John Wayne's wagon. But when I clicked on this I expected to see Bo and Luke Duke's wagon. :(

I saw this wagon 10 or so years ago at a restaurant in Auburn, IN, along with a life size cutout of John Wayne.

I saw it maybe 25 years ago at the Imperial Palace collection in 'Vegas. IMO, not one of ole Georges' better pieces of work.......

Got a story (may have told this one before...)
My B-I-L went down to Baja to fish quite a bit. He was flying in to Loreto, BC one time - was going to stay at a pal's place. This pal owned a huge towing outfit in the San Fernando Valley part of LA, a real big talker. My B-I-L phones his pal after his plane lands, pal says he's tied up for the moment, but he'll send another friend over to the airport to pick him up. B-I-L jumps in the old P/U when he sees it and the driver is George Barris. B-I-L has a nice conversation with him going back to the place.

We see this wagon posted here about every month on average.
I don't think it, the dreaded '62 Thunderbird wagon, and those weird looking Eldorado wagons will ever just go away.:D

I may have had a brief thought about Daisy Duke in her earlier days. But find the Dukes' wagon far more interesting!

Aaah those short shorts.....and visions of the Boars Nest.:slap:
