    Aw man........

You need to try a PDR guy on that (Paintless Dent Repair)
Go to a high-end body shop that fixes Benz's or BMW's and find out who they use.

It is going to need a door and fender. The damage is very deep and lots of creases the pics. do no justice. So much for having a nice dent free car with decent paint.

I feel for ya man:(, had it happen to the rear quarter on my Buick. Just as you mention, the crease and wave was to much to just un-dent, now I have a ripple.

Looks like a door is needed for sure, but I bet most of that front fender can be pulled to rights using a sink plunger. It's amazing how much that will fix, and the sooner the better, before the metal develops a new memory. Who knows, you may get REALLY lucky and find a perfect door in the right colour, so it will still be factory paint! Good luck. What a thing to wake up to.

yep my neighbor, or their friend. So I have developed a plan, mostly legal. I am a tow truck driver by trade. I will find them. I will hunt them. When they make a mistake like driving drunk which is probably what they were doing when they hit my car. They will be arrested and IMPOUNDED. Then I will own their car. I will sell their car and that money will pay to fix my car.

Aw geeze! Did you speak to your neighbor about it? Is he admitting to anything? Is his car showing any damage or paint on the bumper? If not...check out his friend's car. You may be able to see the car that did it and call the cops and get the guy's insurance to pay for it. Man. I hate to see stories like this. I hope you are able to get the car right again, bowtie.:(

Oh it will be right again. It will take me awhile but it will right. I assure all. I love this car. I have done all the maintainance on this car since 94. The owner promised it to me and i promised to restore it. What sucks for me is i was not there when it happened so my word against theirs. So it will be all out of pocket for me. I just dropped a sb 400 at the machine shop for it. I think i am a little lucky in the fact that the car was repainted a few years ago and they painted the whole car. Gonna just get me a new door and fender. Was going to buy a nice short cowl hood for it. Guess i will just need a little extra paint now.

    Idiots!

Is this where the car was parked when you found the dents?

How does someone hit a car like that and then just drive away?

My mom backed into our neighbour's friends pickup a few years back. They had parked their truck on the oppsite side of the road but at the end of our driveway and our road is very narrow. Mom was backing out so slow that she didn't even realize that she had bumped their truck. She went good for it.

Just makes you sick. Really hate to see that!!!

I got a good one for you. My aunt was a small-town grade-school teacher in northeast Arkansas from the late 70's through the early 90's. Her best friend also taught there, and no joke, he daily-driver was a 1969 Hurst Olds. Talk about the COOL teacher.

So one day she came out after class and the right-rear 1/4 panel on the Hurst was caved in. No note.

The next day she came into the school and another teacher walked up and said "Hey sorry I bumped into your old white car yesterday. I meant to tell you but forgot. Good thing it's just an old car, right? If it'd been new I'd have been upset...."

    :banghead3:

This is that car....in around 1988... No making fun of our clothes, my haircut or my friend's mullet. :)

She was the original owner, they bought it new in Memphis, was a gift from her husband, and she drove it to school daily. Can you imagine?

It was far from perfect, but all there and all original. I wanted that car SO BAD!

Oh talk about being backed into i am cursed. My last four cars have all been hit. I have a pair of 73 monte carlos, a 92 s-15 and my wagon. Going backwards. I loaned my s-15 to a coworker because his kid wrecked his pickup being the nice guy and he smears the driver rear quarter with a skid loader. The last 73 monte black on black one an ex-gf backed into the rear quarter driverside. And my gold 73 monte some idiot backed into with her mini-van. That one hurt the worst. She hit it soft, and her van stopped. She diddnt know why so she gassed it. Actually started to roll the car. After the right front tire was pushed against the curb. She stopped when the core support gave up and the front of the car fell back down. No lie the left front tire was a foot off the ground. I watched the whole thing unfold in front of me. And she started to leave the scene also. I had to run her down. She actually had the stuff to say i diddnt do that. It was like that when i pulled up here. So yeah i am cursed.

Those 442 :camera:are great Mike! I remember seeing at least one of the Hurst Olds around town back in the day. Linda Vaughn, Miss Hurst, was from somewhere near where I grew up I believe?
