    I'd like to go, but without a co-pilot or two to split costs with, it's a nonstarter. Last year's long haul cost me about $1500. About 2/3 was gas. This year I figure at least 3000 miles there and back.

    Money's pretty tight right now, but I keep it in mind. Last year I stayed at the Hawthorn Suites near the GM Tech Center in Warren. I think I paid less than $90 through Hotels.Com. It had a little kitchen, living room and bedroom. Nice place.

    motel 6 works for me as the family isnt coming booked 3 nights in farmington hills near milford for $115 total. clean bed and a shower and a/c is all i need

    I fully intend on running at least Stillwater to DFW, I may start a day earlier in Miami OK if I can. If I don't get to go this year I'm going to pitch a fit a toddler would be jealous of.

    from miami to stillwater hopefully the route is on rt 66 if not thats what im doing and just hitting the venue to get my ticket stamped. i'm going to try and get to the hot rod and custom museum if you wanna ride together let me know

    It looks unlikely given my finances. I have to get a crown put on another tooth. That's all out of my pocket since I don't have dental. Maybe I'll be in a better position for Drag Week.
