Is there any wagon out there better than the 1994-96 Buick roadmaster? I am the proud owner of 2 of them with 1 more on the way.My wife and I cant get over how well these cars perform. The question I want to put to yall is that they both have the same little idiosyncracies. Both make a boingy sound when I hit a hard bump. Both leak gas from the fuel pump. But one, I have the dynaride suspension disabled( the one I work with). The other is in a constant state of adjustment, whether I am in the vehicle or not. Would it be feasable to repace the air shocks with standard shocks. Also both have leaky exaust problems coming from the flange after the cat converter. Should I just weld it?Thanks for letting me in your forum
You came to the right place rm1. We have tons of Roadmaster owners and fans here. I'm sure at least one of them will be able to help you out with your question.
3 Roadies. You need a 3rd driver to roll your own convoy! You'll get more help from others in the General Tech sections. Not everyone comes into the Intros.
Since you asked 3rd gen Vista Cruisers are better. They don't have the distributor behind the water pump. I'm actually going to be looking for one next I think. You can put on air shocks I would think, if the flange can be welded why not?
Ive only owned mine for about 3 weeks...and only worked on it for one day...only drove it for one day....I got nuttin... to the toolbox
Welcome! I have 3 Roadmasters and looking for #4. I can try to help. I don't know what the "boingy" sound might be but it could be shocks. You can replace the rear air shocks with standard shocks or aftermarket airs. The fuel leak is probably the sending unit - been there done that. As far as the flange goes one of mine has been cut out and a pipe welded in place no problems. Here are links to two other forums that have a wealth of info about these cars. http://gmlongroof.4umer.com/index.htm http://www.impalassforum.com/vBulletin/
