I recommend doing a search on google.com. Good luck with your wagon! Those Custom Cruisers are really nice road machines!

I think Germany, Erik (his English looks a lot like Dutch English) :rednose:

    "swatze":

As in: Berlin, Deutschland [IMG] ?
(There are 15 towns/cities named Berlin in the USA alone.)

If it's Germany, check with Casey's Discount in the Netherlands [IMG]

Here's another model year 1976 Oldsmobile Custom Cruiser from Germany:

I came across this one at a car show in Hückelhoven‎, Nordrhein-Westfalen, back in 2008.

IIRC Jeffrey Allman was/is having the same problem with weather stripping on his 76 CC. I believe there were others, too. You may want to PM Jeffrey and see what he found.

I found this on another site (stationwagon.com). Not sure how old it is or how accurate it is.

NOTE: If you are looking for the rear door lower weather seal for a 1971-1976 GM "clamshell" wagon, Bill Larkie has arranged with Karr Rubber Mfg to re-manufacture that part. Here's the information:

That number is no longer valid for the Karr Rubber company.

His introduction post is this thread is from June 2010.

In fact, his last activity was long before you registered here:

The Satellite is long gone, sold to a bloke in Germany.
    Same story like above:

You're replying to an old post, and Wilf's last activity was also dated before you newbee joined this forum.

I suggest that you read the dates before you reply, your previous posts will be deleted (y)

No need to chastise anyone for a date mistake, Erik. Dewey was only trying to be a nice guy and welcome a newbie. It's easy to peck around on the forum and make that date mistake...I've done it myself. I don't know exactly when Dewey joined here without looking but, I do know that he has become a welcomed member of the wagon family because of his friendly persona.
I'm not sure what you meant by the comment that Dewey's previous posts will be deleted? Do you know something that I don't? Do you have some power that I am unaware of?
In any case, Dewey made a mistake about the date but, he was welcoming a person that he thought was a newbie as he does often like many of us. No biggie there. Dewey was concerned that he may have done something wrong and was going to have all his posts deleted. I assume you were just joking but he didn't know that. Hope everything is cleared up now for all concerned. :D

Actually, if you look, all of these posts are very old. The only reason that I responded is that I was digging for info on where to find rear rubber for our clamshells and when I attempted to use this contact info I found that it had been disconnected. I'm glad Kevin posted it because even if the original poster was long gone it helped me in my search. Apparently the number only recently changed.

Thanks Fox! I deleted my own previous comments on this thread out of feeling a little silly for not checking the post date, but more so because the exchange between Erik and I got a little heated and sarcastic which is not like me at all and I felt our forum members did not need to be reading posts of that nature. I apologise to anyone who may have read the exchange and been offended.

I started to read through too with out checking dates. I get a little caught up with greeting folks that I forget to check the dates...silly me.
However, it looks like all of this might have helped someone. (y)
