Hello, I have two station wagons, one being a 1981 5.7 Olds diesel Custom Cruiser. I bought her for $650 and she has been a sweetheart. The fellow I bought her from said she had sat for at least 10 years before he got it out for sale. Gets lots of looks and not because she is the prettiest. I am pretty sure this is perhaps the last surviving diesel SW in town! I also picked up a 76 Ford LTD, don't know too much about it, but it is pea green in and out and needs some TLC before she is on the road. I enjoy wagons and try to rescue them simply because they are a part of American automotive history that we probably won't see again. I mean, come on, these were THE family car!

Welcome to the board. I remember my mom's green/green LTD wagon...seems like a lifetime ago.
