Came across this site while looking for a place to sell our '87 Colony Park. One of the best vehicles we ever had; comfortable (fell asleep at the wheel once; still here), powerful (pulled a trailer), versatile (fold the back seat; you've got a truck!) and actually not bad on fuel. Who needs a mini-van or an SUV when you can have a station wagon???
Welcome to the forum. Do you have a few pictures of your car? We need visuals around here. Hope you enjoy your stay.
Thank you...looks good...is this the one your trying to sell? I have a sister living in the thriving metropolis of Shaunavon. Are you handy to there?
Saskatchewan's a BIG place "Thank you... looks good... is this the one your trying to sell?" To be honest, it's a 20 footer. Plateable in Sask w/ no accident history. One way or another it has to go. 351HO & AOD already sold. Some interest on this site for other parts. Thanks! "I have a sister living in the thriving metropolis of Shaunavon. Are you handy to there?" Probably 5 hrs away by some of the worst road on the planet. I work as as a shipper/receiver; there isn't a day go by I don't hear about the lack of maintenance on Sask highways. One trucker told me he would NEVER haul into Sask EVER again. We've lived in this community for 22+ yrs; the main access road needed major rebuilding THEN; we're still waiting. Just where do all our fuel tax $ go??? That'll be my rant for the day..........
My other sister and I went out west last summer to visit our baby sister in Shauny. Did a little touring about and your right you do have to stay alert when driving. Got to Dog river...love that show Mom's there now(Shauny not Dog River) She tells me she hasn't seen a car yet that doesn't have a broken windsheild. From flying stones and all the bumps I guess?
Touring Sask "My other sister and I went out west last summer to visit our baby sister in Shauny. Did a little touring about and your right you do have to stay alert when driving." Yep, don't matter where you drive here in Sk. "Got to Dog river...love that show" We went the extra mile to Rouleau (pardon me, Dog River) on a trip to Moose Jaw once; it was worth it. "Mom's there now(Shauny not Dog River) She tells me she hasn't seen a car yet that doesn't have a broken windsheild. From flying stones and all the bumps I guess?" Glass, tires, wheels, springs, shocks, CV joints, paint, headlights, wheel alignments........... the list is endless........... and priceless. There was a pothole on my route to work that would literally swallow a wheel/tire on the Civic. Probably still there (22+ yrs haven't passed yet); I've changed my route. I pin the blame for a $100 wheel alignment wholly & solidly on that unrepaired pothole.
Just wondering, if you drove into my driveway and went into a large hole and damaged your car, wouldn't I be responsible for your repairs? I am suppose to keep the conidition of my property up, right? So how come taxpayers can be held liable but levels of government are not? If you fell into a big hole while out walking on a trail in a provincal park would't the province be accountable? Then why is it different on our roads...still the responsiblity of the province isn't it? Somewhere in BC I heard that a couple of tourist are sueing the province because they where attacked by a BEAR!!! Please the government is supposed to liable for stupid hikers that go off into the wilderness and be attached! But somehow their not responsible for the condition of the roads . My mom hit a pothole in a Mall parking lot one time, the mall management went good for the damages...why not our elected officals? SShhh...I'm starting to sound like Normy...
Can't blame you for the rant...... is there a another forum for such? In the meantime I'm still parting out the CP LS.
