    Howdy gents....and ladies?

    I know it's been a while since I was on here, but life has been pretty busy. Most relevant development however, is my new wagon! ....okay, it's my wifes new wagon! :D

    Just thought I'd drop in briefly to show it off. ;)

    2011 Holden SV6 Series II Sportwagon.
    210kw SIDI 3.6 V6 with 6A and LSD
    Sizzle Red

    I love it!

    Hopefully I'll be able to drop back in soon, but I'm in Papua New Guinea at the moment so connectivity is..... a little primative.

    Now that is a sharp looking wagon. I love those Holdens. Is that one available with the 'Vette engine?

    There are 4 engine choices:
    3.0 SIDI (though tuned for lower down torque than the US equivalent SRX, GMC Terrain etc.)
    3.6 SIDI as above comes in the SV6 and luxury Calais trims
    6.0 L76 V8 in SS and Calais
    and the big gun LS3 317kw comes in the Holden Special Vehicles R8 Tourer however that weighs in at around 70000 bananas! ....maybe next time. :D

    Very nice wagon. I feel cheated we don't have anything like that here in the States. Best of luck with it.

    Well, mikmac...I love it, too! I do love those Holden's. They have great style. I love it even MORE after reading A1A's post! Put the steering wheel on the left and I would sell EVERYONE'S gramma for one of those! Guess which engine I want in it.:D

    Thanks for the comments gents. I agree the Sportwagon should have definitely made it across the pond. You guys are desperately starved of modern wagons! Then again, you have much better looking classics. ;) As much as I love our new rig, at times it's a little too clinical for my tastes. Three pedals would have been nice.

    Hopefully in the next year, I'll swap it for a 6.0V8 6M and the wife can get her SUV 4x4 thingy.....

    lol. Nice Christmas tree to go with the CTS-V burnout!

    fannie, thanks for the compliment on the pic. I have plenty more! I'm doing a review for GMInsidenews.com (I'm a staff writer there) so I'll be including my own vehicle in with a bunch of other Holden wagons/SUVs:
    Captiva 5 2.4DI manual and Captiva 7 6A Diesel 2.2;
    Holden Berlina 3.0, SV6 3.6;
    and the big bopper 6.0 SS-V which also comes with big meaty Brembo brakes! My wife LOVED this car, but it was about 20000 more than I wanted to spend.
