I put a new set of headlamps into the Mercedes, I've had them laying around for at least 7 years (forgot I even had them) and decided to use them when I ran across the adapter harness while sorting through my tool box junk drawer.
The lamps are for the Mack Truck Granite package and are a direct replacement for the two lamp round sealed beam in vehicles.

I think they look good in the car.

And lit up, the halogen bulbs are the type Ford's used for years in their two lamp composite headlamps so are easy to find.
Chrysler also has a similar lamp in the Jeep JK but you'd have to make your own harness to retrofit them.
I also have a pair of them but need to put the lenses on the reflectors.

Well done. Looks a lot better and brighter I'm sure.
