Fuel sending unit

    i have a 1966 Pontiac tempest station wagon. Anyone knows what size OD fuel line?? It has a return line on the unit. 2 outlet. I need to know what size? Also where can I find or buy this fuel sending unit for my car?? Thanks

    I don't know your specific application, but GM in the 60's was typically 5/16 for 6 cylinder and small v8 engines and 3/8 for larger v8 engine. If you have to run new fuel lines then you should consider your needs and how much power you plan to make and how much fuel you will need. If you already have 3/8 line in your car then it will most likely work for you unless you are planning to make a ton of power.
