I hope you all enjoy the holidays with those who are close to you. From my home to yours Merry Christmas.
What a lovely scene Jennifer. Thank you for sharing it. Merry Christmas to all of my station wagon family. I hope it's a wonderful time for you and your families.
From our home on Memory Lane to all of our Station Wagon Friends. Happy Holidays as you walk down your own Memory Lane.
Yes, you did. Sometimes it's nice to be GOT! Santa is coming to town later. I've been very good. Since I spent last Christmas in the hospital trying to die with the simple flu, we look forward to being with our three kids and our grandkids at the daughter's house. Son in law makes his own beer! We have 50' pine trees along the property line. They are too tall for this small house so we put up our tiny plastic tree. I hope Santa can get down our little chimney pipe. Seems like someone in your country is to blame for this tradition of dragging a tree in to celebrate the coming of spring. So when ever it's time for your house tree, I hope someone leaves you things you can't live without.
After our adopted son grew up and moved while we lived in Florida, we mostly stopped celebrating Christmas. We sometimes ate with friends or drove 150 miles to Daytona Beach and relaxed on the beach in our thong bikinis. I found out this scared all of the Canadians and northerners up the coast away so we'd be all alone. Now we enjoy our adult kids and those little rug rats they have. We even figured a way to not have to go Christmas shopping. We give our kids money just like we used to mail it. They know what the gramdkids want and we don't have to go into any of those crowded shops. ........Baa Humbug.
When we lived 1100 miles away it was easier and cheaper to send money. Now the grandkids seem to have Christmas everyday. They all have more toys and clothes than Walmart does.
